I started this blog for my daughters when they left home. I wanted to share a few easy, cheap and favourite recipes with them. Now ten years later, it's just where I put my favourite recipes.

Healthy Flapjacks

There are many recipes which need a long list of ingredients.  This one doesn't, is so easy and quick. And has approval from GPam, D & E already!

Ingredients
2 tbspns coconut oil
4 tbspns agave nectar
2 mashed ripe bananas
200g rolled oats
2 tbspns seeds (sunflower, pumpkin, linseeds, chia - a mix of whatever you have)
1 tbspn flaked almonds.

Method
Melt coconut oil and add agave and mashed bananas.
Mix dry ingredients in bowl.  Add 'wet' ingredients and stir well.
Press into a tin (lined with greaseproof for ease of washing up!)
Cook in oven at 180 C for 15 mins.

Job done!
Best to store in fridge (because of the fresh banana) if they last more than 5 minutes!!
